Advanced SEO Techniques
These SEO techniques go through a three phase process. They are bookmarking, article writing then getting targeting higher PR sites.
I learned this from someone who works in SEO services. Host your blog on a server and publish some new articles on it. Next, take all the articles that you just wrote and social bookmark them. Moving on to the RSS feed of your blog, you’ll submit that URL to the directories and aggregators.
You’ll have about 10 to 15 links going back to the main portion of your website after you do this procedure. You should be taking your keyword list and targeting them in the activity your doing and you should be on page 1 or 2 of the search engines. You need more than just social bookmarking over a long period of time. Using these other SEO techniques, you’ll end up being close to the top of the search engines.
Step two is the getting back links going to your website. The PR value will be low but you should still do the things outlined in step 2. Write articles and submit them to different article directories. The find some blogging networks and get some links going back to your website using the signature function when you sign up. They do have things out there to automate the task.
When you submit your articles to the article directories, you should be obtaining a few hundred links that will lead back to your website.
Some of the article directories will allow you to put a link in the article. I’ll link from one back to my main website and the other one I will link to a page on my Web 2.0 properties.
In the long run you want at least 50% of the links to go back to your main website. You’ll want to keep up a good routine of writing articles to submit to either the blog or article networks.
Now do some searching and find a piece of software that shows you were all of your keywords rank in the search engines. At this time of the game you should have 200 or so links going back to your site. The PR ranking for these links I’ve always had between 1 and 2.
Now you’re ready to go on to phase 3. In this step you want to hand pick authority sites where you can work in a link back to your website. Some of these SEO techniques used in phase 3 you might have to pay for, but the link back to your website will be well worth the money spent.
That’s it with these SEO techniques. When you bookmark your articles, take the time to set up good wording. When you publish your articles on the different directories come up with something compelling.
